Join your fellow dancers onstage this Fall. Over the course of regular classes, two Choreo Workshops + two rehearsals, we will create a combined piece with newcomers through advanced dancers, then perform our creation at the Fall 2024 DanceVisions concert at Zohar Studios in Palo Alto.

Those wishing to participate are encouraged to take class regularly from Sept. 30 - Oct. 23, then commit to joining the two Choreo Workshops & two rehearsals in the following three weeks. Monday classes & Choreo Workshops will be covering more advanced phrasework at a faster pace; Wednesday classes & Choreo Workshops will be geared towards performance fundamentals and move at a slower pace. Key Dates / Learning process:

• Sept 30 - Oct. 23 (4 weeks) - Classes as usual, with the final choreography focusing on the phrase that will be performed (Mon/Wed folks separate)

• Oct. 28 - Nov. 6 (2 weeks) - Two weeks of special Choreo Workshops (details in the registration link below) that will introduce additional sections of the performance piece (Mon/Wed folks separate)

• Nov 11 & 13 (1 week) - Two rehearsals to weave the performance sections together including both Monday & Wednesday groups (Mon/Wed folks combined)

• The performance will be Sunday Nov. 17 @ 4:30pm at Zohar Studios, with a final tech rehearsal earlier that afternoon.

Pricing

• $60 performance fee - includes 2 Choreo Workshops + 2 rehearsals (classes billed as usual prior to Oct. 24)

• $20 per Choreo Workshop for drop-in
